Deny, deny, deny!

Never one to shy away from controversy, Madonna issued the mother of all denials on Sunday, quashing rumors of an affair with Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez, refuting claims that she converted him to Kabbalah and denying plans to divorce her husband of seven years, Guy Ritchie.

Christie Brinkley has been through a lot—and she still has a lot to go through—but she hasn't lost her ability to empathize.

"I'd just like to say after two days of testimony that I can't help but think about Diana Bianchi, and I want her and her family to know that I feel really badly for them," the jilted former supermodel said after court Thursday, referring to the woman who was a teenager when she had an affair with Brinkley's soon-to-be ex-husband, Peter Cook.

"I feel bad for her and I forgive her completely."

Brinkley testified earlier today that she learned about the affair from Bianchi's policeman stepfather.

"Today was really difficult reliving all the horrors" of that time, she told reporters outside the courthouse.

Testimony is scheduled to resume Monday.

Dealing with the fallout of her husband's betrayal didn't feel like a death to just Christie Brinkley, it felt like one to her friends, too.

The erstwhile cover girl took the stand during the second day of testimony in her public divorce trial from philandering architect Peter Cook Thursday, testifying as to her confrontation with Cook and subsequent reaction after learning of his affair with an 18-year-old staffer.

"I just said to Peter, 'How could you?' " she said on the stand, making her testimony all the more poignant by choosing that moment to look at Cook head-on for the first time in the two-day trial.

What a tangled web we weave when first we talk about Madonna's men.

While the Queen of Pop, fresh off a happy and photo op-ready reunion with hubby Guy Ritchie, already took pains to disavow anything more than a platonic relationship between herself and Yankee star Alex Rodriguez, a blast from Madge's past is joining in the denial act, this time concerning a rumored relationship with Rodriguez's suddenly estranged wife.

"There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself," Lenny Kravitz said in a statement today. "This is unequivocally 100 percent not true."

Christie Brinkley wanted her divorce trial to be open to the public to ensure nothing was kept private. She should be careful what she wishes for.

Neither Brinkley's attorneys nor estranged hubby Peter Cook left any sordid stone unturned when the confessed philanderer testified as the case's first witness today.

Chief among the revelations from the 49-year-old architect's testimony was the admission that after sleeping with his then-18-year-old employee Diana Bianchi for the first time—in his office, no less—he paid her $300,000 in hopes she would keep their affair under wraps.

Money not that well spent, as it turns out.

Once again, the Queen of Pop's rep is putting the kibosh on reports of trouble in faux-accented paradise, including an Us Weekly cover story that suggests the Material Mom is looking to bench Guy Ritchie so she can play ball with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

"Madonna's husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last-ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving)," said Madonna's longtime publicist, Liz Rosenberg. "There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

The glossy has shot down calls from Gina Gershon's reps to retract its bombshell July cover story that links the former president to the Bound star.

"We don't believe that any correction is warranted," Vanity Fair spokeswoman Beth Kseniak said in a statement.
