Perhaps, as Allen may be courting Jennifer Aniston for an upcoming film. Allen and Aniston, joined by his wife Soon Yi, were spotted dining at Beverly Hills staple Madeo last night.
There's speculation Allen may be interested in featuring Aniston in a forthcoming project, and E! News can confirm that Woody indeed has a new film brewing.
“It’s top secret, we’ve barely heard anything,” industry sources tell us. “But he’s definitely writing it.”

A who's who of Hollywood turned out last night to remember Bernie Brillstein.
A memorial service was held at UCLA's Royce Hall to pay tribute to the late manager and TV/movie producer, who died last week at 77 due to complications from heart disease.
Longtime client Jennifer Aniston read a passage from Brillstein's book Where Did I Go Right?, and Rob Lowe talked about their 20-plus year relationship, a source at the service reports.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may not have been photographed together since July 27, but each is still looking perfectly happy. Whatever it is causing their fresh, healthy glow, be it thoughts of a significant other waiting for him/her on the other side of the border or relief to be spending a few days as a single entity—it's working.
On a break from touring, Mayer flew down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Aug. 3 to unwind and has barely worn a stitch of clothing since. The singer, either lounging in a hot tub or wrapped in a towel, has been kicking back with friends, smoking cigars and otherwise living the (Your Body Is a) Wonderland life.
And while his actress gal-pal was dutifully present for concerts in London and various U.S. locales, Aniston has opted to stay put in L.A. and do her own thing for the time being.

Jennifer Aniston has resorted to taking the bus these days, and it has nothing to do with the summer's sky-high gas prices.
E! News has learned that actress is not just attending boyfriend John Mayer's concerts. She's gone groupie, joining him on his tour bus.
Mayer kicked off the U.S. leg of his summer road show Wednesday night, with Aniston by his side backstage. The couple arrived together at the 2008 Milwaukee Summerfest at the Marcus Amphitheater on his rig.

With the recently cancelled Dirt now history, Cox has gone behind the camera to direct The Monday Before Thanksgiving, a short for Glamour magazine's Reel Moments film series, according to her hubby David Arquette.

Soon after meeting up with gal-pal Jennifer Aniston for a bite at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge Monday afternoon, John Mayer was spotted working up a sweat while jogging with his personal trainer, Harley Pasternak.
Later that evening, John hung out with a couple of buddies at his Pacific Palisades pad before heading over to Jen's Hollywood Hills home around 10:30 to work up another sweat visit his favorite girl.
