Charlize and Stuart: No One Is More in Love
Could Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend be any more sickeningly in love?
The blond beauty says the ring he gave her isn't an engagement number, but more of an ongoing love note.
"It was a Victorian thing," Theron says in the new issue of Elle UK. "You put in a lock of hair or a little note to remind you of your loved one...Every time I go away he puts in a little love note."
What else has Townsend given the Oscar winner?
Nicky's Happy Birthday Haterade for LiLo
Usually, the feuding is left to big sis Paris. But it was Nicky Hilton who snidely replied "no" (followed by giggling) when paps asked the 24-year-old if she wanted to wish Lindsay Lohan a happy birthday Wednesday night.
Perhaps Nicky's just standing by her sister's side, given the ongoing feud between her and LiLo. But apparently Paris' boy-toy Benji Madden doesn't feel the same sense of loyalty—he accompanied brother Joel to Lindsay's 22nd B-day soiree at Teddy's.

Don't Mess With the Winehouse?
Fans, beware. Here comes Amy Winehouse's latest hit.
Video has surfaced showing the 24-year-old soul diva getting into a scuffle with a concertgoer during her performance at Britain's Glastonbury music festival on Saturday.
The Grammy-winning singer appears to jab her elbow at the crowd while singing "Rehab" in the mosh pit. Seconds later, Winehouse angrily throws a couple punches.
Asked about the incident, Winehouse's rep said, "The 'lashing out' was when someone tried to grab her hair and she reacted."
What do you think? Did a fan get too close or did Amy make the first move?
Mary-Kate: Spencer Pratt Is So High School
While the "real" in reality has always been questionable when it comes to The Hills, it seems Spencer Pratt truly is that guy everybody loves to hate—at least according to Mary-Kate Olsen.
During her appearance Thursday night on the Late Show with David Letterman, M.K. reveals she actually knew Speidi's lesser half back in the day.
"He used to play on the soccer team for my high school, and he does not have a good temper," said the Wackness actress. "He walked out of a few games. He would walk off the field."
Now, if we could just get him to walk out of our lives.
Audrina and Lo Take Time to Bond, Shop
The Hills rolled through trendy Fred Segal today, proving retail therapy can make gal-pals out of anyone. Even Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth, whom we last saw at odds for Lauren Conrad's good favor on the show.
Kid Rock: (Don't) Steal This PSA
It has been said that sarcasm doesn't always translate to print. It's apparently having trouble in video form, as well.
Despite a clearly tongue-in-cheek video PSA posted on YouTube last week by Kid Rock in which he gives fans his approval not only to illegally download his music but to get sticky-fingered on all manner of other material needs, from Toyotas to iPods, the rocker has apparently decided to cover his tracks and clarify his remarks.
"I was just trying to have some fun with it," he disclaimed to reporters today at the Buick Open Pro-Am in Michigan.
Too bad he had to go and spoil it with unnecessary clarification.
Tim McGraw Lays Down the Law
Don't mess with Tim McGraw.
Sure, stopping a concert and asking someone to give back the ring they just pulled off your finger seemed kinda hard-core at the time. But last night at a show in Washington, McGraw yanked a fan out of the crowd after seeing the man rough up a female concertgoer. The crooner initially called for security to get things under control, but after a few lagging seconds decided to get 'er done himself. (Sorry.)
In a statement, the singer's rep said, "While Tim was performing at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Wash., last night, he watched a man rush to the front of the stage. This overly aggressive fan attacked a female fan and Tim witnessed this incident."
And McGraw didn't approve. The country star grabbed what looks like a Cops extra onto the stage and effortlessly tossed him aside. From our vantage point, security was restraining the fan for his own protection—not Tim's.
Boy George Breaks Up Boring State Dept. Presser
[Note: Casey's spit-take begins at the 2:30 mark.]
Who knew cracking wise was part of the job description at the U.S. Department of State?
After covering Iran and Afghanistan, the topic of conversation for deputy spokesman Tom Casey naturally turned to Boy George during yesterday's press briefing—or more specifically, to the burgeoning international incident sparked by the department's visa denial for the '80s icon, who in turn was forced to cancel the summer leg of his tour.
"Do you really want to hurt him?" cracks Casey after nearly choking on his water.
"Obviously, visa records are confidential. But I'd simply note that there often are difficulties for individuals who either are currently subject to criminal charges or otherwise may have criminal records. So I think you might want to look toward some of those reasons as why he might be having some difficulties here."
That, and Condi Rice doesn't cotton to "Karma Charmeleon."
Ice-T Would Like to Apologize (We Think)
Have you been following the Soulja Boy versus Ice-T rap battle?
Yeah, neither have we.
However, that shouldn't prevent you from checking out this highly entertaining—and extremely NSFW—apology from Ice-T, in which the veteran hip-hop artist, Law & Order actor and Body Count provocateur unleashes a blistering mea culpa to teen rapper Soulja Boy for saying...well, something we won't repeat.
We take no sides in this rap feud, but we are deeply, deeply sincere in our hope that no one will ever apologize to us like this. We might just start crying.
Celine Can't Take Cover From "Sacrilegious" Tune
For those about to rock, best not to take any cues from Celine Dion.
The Canadian chanteuse's easy-listening rendition of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" earned the otherwise lauded balladeer the ignominious honor of being voted the worst cover song of all time by a panel of experts at Total Guitar magazine.
While she only sang the apparently appalling tune once, a whopping six years ago, it was seemingly one time too many for the mag's connoisseurs.
"Cover versions have never been bigger but the number one worst song—Celine Dion covering AC/DC—is sacrilege," grouses Total Guitar editor Stephen Lawson.
